Last Weekend in Munich (Friday)

For my last weekend in Munich, I had a few visitors from the north :). Ricky Barnum, Andrew Demiglio, and Kevin Jordan all took the train down to Munich on Friday and met me after my last German class on Friday. All in all, the German class was a great experience! I learned a lot of German and most importantly, met a group of amazing kids that made my time in Munich an experience that I will never forget!

Without wasting any time, we set out to find the Hirshgarten biergarten :). It was a nice place, but different from the biergartens in Englischer Garten that I was used to.. but this place was cool because it had deer.

Then, we met the rest of the group at a restaurant for dinner to celebrate Panida's 21st birthday! We all squeezed together at one table.  I ordered schnitzel and an order of potato pancakes and they were delicious!!!

As we were leaving, Garrett started talking to the two musicians who were playing in the restaurant that night.  Since Garrett plays a variety of instruments, they gave him the trombone to see what he could do.  Without playing a trombone in 3 years, Garrett followed one of the guys out into the main room of the restaurant and began playing completely in tune (I have no idea how Garrett knew how to play German songs...).  Everyone began clapping and of course we were all in awe of Garrett's skills.  After the first song was finished, they began another by popular demand.  Garrett played so well and everyone was amazed and so entertained.

Then, we all headed out to a club called Vapiano, which we had been to before.  It was our last night all together so this was our last adventure together.  We danced for hours and it was a blast! I checked my bag, so I do not have any pictures from at the club.. but this is a picture of all of us at the train station on our way to the club.  I love this group! We had soooo much fun together!!!
